Reduce snap to grid step

I've a big projects that span to multiple workspaces, most of the time i have an issue with the current snap to grid as it snaps to the next line of the grid. Its would be nice if snap to grid snaps in between lines too.
This is the current grid of gns3-gui-2.1.4: see the highlighted examples of the current snap to grid. I think by reducing the gap between lines will solve the problem.

update:
now I have wonderful show the grid and snap to grid its more flexible while snapping and arranging things.
This is after changing the gridSize and GRID_SIZE variables to half (from 70 to 35).

Now you can configure the default grid size in the preferences or for each project.
