A global toolbar with a home button would prevent users getting lost. See https://material.angular.io/components/toolbar/overview for implementation details.

to support the CSS design for the contact methods page, I had to adjust the app-component html so that the header doesn't move when the rest of the page scrolls. This means it should be possible to just replace the header-link-area div with a material toolbar.

While we might make cosmetic changes later on, the functionality of this issue was included in PR #41.
