Same thing on this issue – @willcahoe can you follow up with @jeremyzilar on this one and then document somewhere in this issue what needs to happen? Once we know what we need to do we can remove the question and blocked tags and move this card into Ready. |

We have a mini site up that can work as a placeholder while we work on the fuller site, I say let's go ahead and move forward with getting the subdomain registered so we can cross this off our list. |
The site is now going through GSA IT scan. Once that is done (24-48hrs), I will submit the ticket to have GSA IT create the new sub-domain. |

to do
We can keep the site on a Federalist preview URL till we have a version of the site that we are comfortable pushing live (or semi-live). This is probably the easiest path to take.
We can get the 10x.gsa.gov URL now,
but we'd have to make master into a locked branch that includes just a splash page on the site, "10x is coming soon! 🎉". This way anyone coming to the site would see the splash page.
Then we'd create a demo branch where we'd do our development work. The pages/previews for this would live at demo.10x.gsa.gov and would only be visible to people who have the link. Robots would not know about it.
