Version: 1.8.1

Description:
The IP Blacklist module of the Spam-X plugin really only supports IPv4 addresses. Specifically, of the 3 types of filtering it offers:

  • exact match
  • IP address range
  • CIDR notation

Only the exact match works with IPv6 adresses (and only by coincidence, since it's simply doing a string match).

Additional Information:
The Wikipedia article on IPv6, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPv6 is probably a good starting point for further research.
