• Add documentation about benchmarking;
• Update the sample data page;
• Update Docusaurus to its current latest version;
• Update the node version in the GitHub action to its current latest, v18;
• The cross-platform build status is predominantly tested via GitHub actions, and Appveyor and Travis will be removed soon. In the anticipation of their deprecation, the build history plotted on the README is removed.
