The password reset feature doesn't work and changing password almost never works. Currently neither the password I used before or the password I tried to change to works, for some reason. So it looks like I will be locked out of my account when I close my current Winds session.

Hey @anonsubmitter, I just tested using Chrome and it worked without any issues. Are you on the hosted version (https://winds.getstream.io) or your own fork? Thanks, Nick.

I'm on the hosted version.

What browser are you using?

I'm logged in in both Chrome and Firefox and I just tried logging in in Pale Moon to see if the password change had gone through and that login attempt failed.

Can you clear your localStorage and do a hard reset on your cache, then give it another round? http://superuser.com/questions/220179/how-can-i-do-a-cache-refresh-in-google-chrome

I tried clearing localStorage in Chrome, changing the password and logging in in Pale Moon, but I still got "INVALID EMAIL OR PASSWORD".

What happens when you attempt to create an account?

I could create a new account just fine in Chrome.

With the same email address?

No, I used another email address since I assumed that creating another account with the same email address would be impossible. I used Gmail for both accounts by the way.

Can you attempt to create with the email that you were using for the password reset? It'll yell at you if there's an error. What is the email you're trying to create an account for? (happy to chat with you directly via nick@getstream.io)

If I try to create an account with the same email address, will my feeds get deleted then? I spent about an hour adding 55 feeds and I'd like to avoid redoing that if possible. Is it possible to export the feeds to an importable backup file? (If not, I'll add that as a feature request.)
I'll email you the details.

No, they won't get wiped. Don't worry.

Ok, I've tried signing up again with the same email address. So far I haven't gotten any confirmation email.
The email with my email address has been sent.

Thank you. Can you please check your email now for a password reset
confirmation? It should contain a temporary password.

Yup, I got it. I'll log out from my account on all browsers and see if the password reset works.

It worked. I'll try and change the password twice to see if the error is gone.

It didn't change to the password I tried to change it to. Should I wait a while and see if the password change system synchronizes or something?

No - it should happen right away. Does the temporary password still work? Also, do you see any errors in your console / network tab when attempting to reset?

The password reset seems to work now at least.
The only thing I saw in the console was a bunch of DOMPropertyOperations.js:142 The specified value "" is not a valid email address. lines where the characters between "" were the characters in my email address as I was typing it.
The temporary password has thus far worked with two login attempts.

Hey @anonsubmitter, this should be fixed in our latest release (0.2.0). Please let me know if the issue persists and we can re-open the case. Thanks for your help!
