Third Party Mods

These extensions have been developed by various people who have made them available to the public. Please see the individual developer of each extension for support.

A few general mods are available in the uhsc-mod-repo repository:

• DeQuirk, a configurable text quirk remover
• oddities, a mod that enables minor arcane features and tweaks in the collection app

The best way to download these is generally the releases page, as there are multiple mods and only some are singlefile.

General

• The Homestuck Commentary Mod, which adds author commentary where available.
• readmspa, the readmspa transcripts of flashes and panels
• damara, which adds ingame translations for Damara's dialogue in Openbound part 2.
• NewsSocial adds the latest newsposts to the end of each page
• Plaintext Images: Replaces text styled via images with CSS effects.
• Morse Translator: Replaces morse code with readable English.
• Easter Eggs: Notes Flashes containing Trickster Mode or link easter eggs.
• Contrast Improver: Adds a contrasting background to text which is hard to read.
• Rex Duodecim Angelus: Inserts the popular fan animation "Rex Duodecim Angelus" into the comic.
• Text Color Adjustments: Adjusts certain text colors to make things more legible on the default theme.
• UHC POV Cam: A port of madman-bob's POV Cam extension for the Homestuck website.
• eraserhead: Another typing quirk remover (WIP)
• semantic: Adds semantic tag info to text, and a page for browsing chat logs by speaker. Modding resource to be used for quirks and other handling.
• Text To Speech: A simple proof-of-concept TTS (Known bugs: Doesn't work with multiple tabs open or with a non-default Font Family setting.)

Swaps

• The Homestuck Slur Replacement, which removes slurs from the comic and included social media.
• [S] Seer: Ask, adds previously unused audio track by Toby Fox to flash Seer: Ask.
• AI Upscaled AIDS, which replaces the comic pages of And It Don't Stop with larger upscaled ones.
• New Alternian Alphabet, which replaces all readable Alternian text with the alphabet from Hiveswap.
• JOHN DO THE WINDY THING, which restores the unofficially modified audio to Dave's Phat Beat Machine.
• Magic MacGuffins: Replaces uses of “juju” in chatlogs with “[magic] macguffin”, inspired by the podcast Homestuck Made This World.
• TUHC Word Replacer: While this is not a drop-in mod for the collection, it allows the user to generate a mod for the collection that can replace any single word (or group of words!) with any other single word (or group!).

• bcplayer, an in-app spoiler-aware music player that plays music from the bandcamp.
• Neko (dl) gives you a little friend on your page.

• High Quality Rips Mod, replaces music on some pages with mashups and edits made for the SiIvagunner YouTube channel.
• Zoosmell Pooplord, replaces every text instance of the beta kids names with their initial, sillier ones
• Long Aquarius, lengthens the Aquarius symbol by an absurd amount every time (only most times) it appears on screen.
