I am working as a research assitant in Georgia state univ. • Using text mining and machine learning to analyze judges’ opinions in cases where a worker’s status as an employee or independent contractor is in dispute. Identifying patterns and evaluate how law operates to predict future outcomes • Analyzed millions of litigation filings using text analytics, to identify the factors considered by judges for decision, created algorithms to tally judges’ use of classification criteria and how judges apply the law in employment cases
