promised-webp-converter Logo

A lightweight node.js production-ready promised library for converting any image to webp file format or vice-versa.

This library was derived from webp-converter (depracated since July 2021) but has added promise-based error handling and removed bad logging practices.

This library uses precompiled executables of WebP(v1.1.0) for more info visit WebP

  • Better error handling.
  • Fixes missing promise rejects.
  • Replaces console logging with throw Error

  • Promises now work as expected, you need to add a catch clause to your promises.

Fix Permission Issue
