20210619T172645Z: I ran into an old friend randomly online. Small world. Hi Tyler!
20210724T045058Z: COVID-19 is spreading worldwide. There is a great division amongst those who wear a mask and those who do not. I have masks to wear and I would prefer to wear them if/when I go out in public, even though I am fully vaccinated. Ever since the TBI in the MVA in 2016, I have nearly total anosmia (unable to smell anything). Sometimes I get such violent and unexpected sneezes that come with little to no warning. I believe those unexpected sneezes have something to do with my anosmia. If there's something that smells weird, like pepper for instance, it might make any normal person sneeze... but there would at least be a sense of warning that you're about to sneeze. With anosmia, that sense of warning is missing entirely, so the sneeze can come quickly and violently. I want to wear a mask to protect others around me from those sudden unexpected sneezes. Any normal person would be able to at least sneeze into their hands or arm. In a world of COVID-19, I would not want to violently randomly sneeze into a stranger's face by accident. If that were to happen to the wrong person, they could easily take it offensively and I am looking to avoid that altogether by simply wearing a mask to protect them.
20210724T045203Z: Within the last 48 hours, I saw an ad online for Motus Nova (which is latin for New Motion). I filled out a form for them to contact me. I received a call from them a few hours ago. I excitedly ordered a Motus Foot, hoping it can help me regain control of my left leg. They asked me to rate, on a scale of 0-10, how recovered I feel from the MVA (which was just over 5 years ago now). I rated my recovery a 2/10 currently since I still have a very hard time standing, walking, or sitting down (especially on the toilet). I'm hoping this AI-powered device will help reduce my vertigo by strengthening my left ankle, and reduce the terrifyingly loud cracking noises my ankle makes when stretching. The cracking noises it makes currently seem abnormally loud. Nearly everytime I hear them, it causes me to have flashbacks of the MVA since the cracking noises my ankle makes sound just like what cracking bones in the crash sounds like. They said there is a one month waiting list for the device. I am now on that waiting list.
20210729T044007Z: I installed an app called Syncthing on my phone and saw how useful it could be. I wanted to make a donation to them, but they did not accept bitcoin as a payment option. I asked that they add an option to accept donations via bitcoin in their forum here: https://forum.syncthing.net/t/donate-via-bitcoin/16998/1 | https://archive.ph/UPvUE.
