I Model Cars

I Model Cars is a car booking service app where you can book a car for a test drive, you can pick a car from the catalogue, pick a date and city and your appointment will be set up. The app was built with Ruby on Rails and React.JS, the is split into a backend and frontend part, this repository is for the frontend part to check the backend please head to this repository

Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple steps.

Prerequisites

Setup

To setup the project follow the steps:

  1. Clone this project using Git Bash:

    git clone https://github.com/GordonOtieno/i-model-cars-frontend
    
  2. Inside the project directory, install the project's dependencies

    npm install
    
  3. Make sure to follow the instructions on the backend repository to run backend serve before starting the frontend server

Available Scripts

In the project directory, you can run:

  • npm start
    

    Runs the app server

  • npm test
    

    Launches the test runner.
