I was waiting until now for the newest contact scopes feature for WhatsApp but there is a problem:
If I allow WhatsApp to pick an handful amount of contacts it won't restore Google Drive backups as it lacks permission of viewing Google accounts.
I was expecting that I could be able to grant account info to WhatsApp even if I disabled contact permission and enabled contacts scopes
