Cannot summon a single thing.

I made a summoning spell, with a simple iron golem as a summon. I try to summon it, then it says, "Cannot have anymore summons." I have tried this with many other mobs, and no matter what I do it says the same thing. I have not summoned them in the past.

Has this issue been resolved? If not, try running /kill @e[type=!Player] if your playing 1.10.2 version. A summoner could also cause this.
