If I set guake's transparency bar to 100%, the result is in fact 100% opacity.

Well, can you reproduce? (For, I presume your are not being sarcastic.) If you can, then I imagine you should fix the problem.

I am not sarcastic, sorry. This is indeed a big logic inversion, kind of. 0% transparency means full transparent.
I have some problem on the translation files to fix before since all translation will need to be updated (because everything in the code, in the settings etc are “reversed”). So thanks for the note, i’ll Try to fix the translation ASAP, then turn “transparency level” to “opacity level” and hope every translator update their file
