Installation Instructions

Once you have obtained compatible Ruby and RubyGems package (see System Requirements), run the following command to install Cognizant from RubyGems.org to install Cognizant on your system:

$ gem install cognizant

Verify your installation by running:

$ cognizantd --version
$ cognizant --version

Both of the commands should print the same version of Cognizant installation.
