We seriously need to go through the python glue and remove those *W functions and plString-ify the regular versions... But for now, this looks good. |

This fixes a few Unicode bugs that show up when the translation for the device name contains non-ASCII letters. This also hopefully avoids future problems in which players and games, etc., may also contain such characters.
