Reading through the documentation, it wasn't clear to me whether this guide is in contrast to some other regional (i.e. country specific) guides (whether or not those exist, I don't know). I do notice that the specific structures (immunizations, etc.) are generally constrained versions of their more general types, which did make me wonder. For what it's worth, I'd find a discussion about this in the documentation helpful. Thanks!

@sttawm We don't track issues regularly in GitHub. There have been a few national adaptations of the IPS. Here's two notable ones:
Canada: https://simplifier.net/guide/patientsummary-canadianeditionrelease1ps-ca/home?version=current
Argentina: https://bus.msal.gob.ar/fhir/ar/core/site/index.html

If you can join a future IPS call, we regularly discuss issues on Wednesdays, 9am US ET (subject to change, check HL7 Calendar). Here is info for that: https://confluence.hl7.org/display/PC/IPS+Project+Group+Meetings

If you'd like to have a specific issue tracked on the standard, the best way is to use the JIRA process, which is linked at the bottom of the IPS FHIR standard. We are planning to publish an update in coming 1-2 months, so now is a great time for feedback.
