"Load more" button in list of challenge participants even when there's no more to load

User report: "The challenge I checked yesterday (via Firefox on Win 10) was the Habitversary Challenge with then 22 participants and now 23 participants. The Load More button is still visible even though there's nothing to load and I'm now on a Win7 computer using Chrome 90.0.4430.212 . After a mini-investigation, it looks like an issue that affects public challenges only (?). For example, if I check the participants list of this guild challenge that has the exact same number of participants (as I check it), the Load More button isn't there."

That's this challenge (where it shows and shouldn't) and this one (where it doesn't show despite the same number of participants).
