Hi all,

I'm not sure what is happening as the Hamlib client application goes
into a blocking tight loop sending CAT commands. Frequency control seems
broken and attempting to Tx using RTS from WSJT-X using SPLIT on the rig
seems to start this bad behaviour.

A git bisect shows that commit 80e199b is where things go wrong.
