Based on Validating-machine-actionable-DMP, but with advanced back-end functionalities. This tool checks whether machine-actionable dmps conform to rda dmp common standard, and check maDMPs for specific vocabularies determined by the on who will use this tool.
Supported vocabulary files are listed in Configure maDMP Vocabulary section.
This tool was developed using spring-boot with Kotlin as a backend language. With that said, you will be able to run it on the go, just make sure that you have the minimal requirements in the Prerequisites section.
- Java 8+
- Maven 3+ (If you are working with intellij, then it will be there)
Thats all :)
Start by cloning this repository to your machine (git clone https://github.com/HasanKhatib/maDMPValidator-SpringBoot.git).
Then use the next maven command in the project directory:
mvn spring-boot:run
Now, go to http://localhost:8080/
This directory /maDMPValidator-SpringBoot/src/main/resources/vocabs/dmp-dataset-type.txt has the vocabulary files named after the entity that will be checked. You can update each file to check the maDMP against your own vocabulary and allowed values.
