Currently, it is only possible to colour whole words. When the subject is hidden in the verb, we would want to colour the pre/suffix differently.

As for the interface: we can use + (or =) and - for this: zoom in (to letter level) and zoom out (to word level). Additionally, double-click may select and zoom in directly.
