globalsOf() should return also environment where object lives such that one can distinguish between an object in, say, a package, and a copy of ditto, e.g.

sample <- base::sample

See also my post to R-devel thread 'A where() functions that does what exists() does but return the environment when object lives?' on 2015-10-09.
