Incorrect markup used with the .checkbox class. The correct markup structure is .checkbox>label>input[type="checkbox"]

Bootstrap's .checkbox class requires the use of a specific DOM structure which matches the CSS selector .checkbox>label>input[type="checkbox"]. Using the .checkbox class with a different DOM structure can cause problems.

Right:

<div class="checkbox">
  <label>
    <input type="checkbox" /> Label text goes here
  </label>
</div>
