Metrics http endpoint values don’t refresh

The values retrieved in the scrape or directly via browser request on 9259 url don’t seem to update for some reason even though querying the underling pmwebapi url directly fetches updated values every request. The only time pcp_exporter updates is when I kill and restart the process.
