Looking for a successor to keep LethalExpansion and LethalSDK alive.

Hello. Making this mod was an awesome adventure, but today I want to work on other projects and explore some game concept ideas to see if I can make my own game. But I want deprecating this mod to be the last resort. It's why I'm looking for someone interested in continuing this mod and make it in his name. If you are ever interested, invite me on discord with my username HolographicWings or write an issue either on LE or LSDK repositories.

How to install :

Tutorial video :

  • Download the SDK. (LethalSDK.zip)
  • Install both Unity and Unity Hub.
  • In Installs tab in Unity Hub, locate the Editor executable in the Unity installation directory.
  • Extract the SDK ("LethalSDK_Project" folder) anywhere.

How to use :

(I'll make a video tutorial)

  • Open the "LethalSDK_Project" as a project though the Unity Hub
  • Navigate to the Mods folder (~\LethalSDK_Project\Assets\Mods) and duplicate the TemplateMod folder.
  • Rename it to the name of your new mod.
  • Open the renamed folder and open the ModManifest file. Adjust the information about your mod as you see fit. WARNING : the Mod Name and the Mod Folder must be same !
  • You can reference the TemplateMod in order to create your own stuff. In the root of the project is a scene called SceneBuilder. This scene is useful to easily make your own moons, just make a prefab from the scene by drag and dropping the parent object to the file explorer.
  • When your mod is finished, click on the LethalSDK tab in the top of Unity, then click on AssetBundle Builder, and finally click on Build AssetBundles. (The first build will be longer than subsequent builds)
  • After it has finished building, you can find your Asset Bundle in the folder you set, this Asset Bundle must be placed anywhere in the "Plugins" folder of BepInEx and require LethalExpansion installed to be loaded. (Only the file with the name of your mod, the manifest is not required) NOTE : Of course, all players must have the same mods in order to join the same lobby.
