Bosch BME280 Temperature, Humidity, Barometric Pressure Sensor

Bosch BME280 sensor is the most important sensor in this project, because it used for Temperature, Humidity, Pressure and Dew Point measuring. Without that sensor the PWS won't work. BMP280 and BMP180 are NOT suitable for this project! Also I have to mention, BME280 is a very sensitive sensor and you will definitely need a proper Radiation Shield.

VEML6075 UV Index Sensor

This sensor is capable of detecting UV-A and UV-B intensity and also calculate the UV Index.

BH1750 Light Sensor

BH1750FVI Light sensor is used for reading Lux values within HomeKit, but Solar Radiation values are also calculated based on this sensor. Point the BH1750 sensor towards the sky, but avoid direct sunlight hitting the sensor!

The calculations used for the rain accumulation are based on the exact same MISOL sensor! If You use other (or DIY) Rain Gauge / Tipping Bucket the readings will be incorrect! Also please note that currently the daily / hourly rain measurements reseted via a simple timer. You may have problems like rain readings will reset only the next day, not 00:00!

Filtered Measurements

All the measurements are smoothened with EWMA filter. More about that here.
