• Have you followed the guidelines for contributing?
• Have you ensured that your commits follow the commit style guide?
• Have you checked that there aren't other open pull requests for the same formula update/change?
• Have you built your formula locally with HOMEBREW_NO_INSTALL_FROM_API=1 brew install --build-from-source <formula>, where <formula> is the name of the formula you're submitting?
• Is your test running fine brew test <formula>, where <formula> is the name of the formula you're submitting?
• Does your build pass brew audit --strict <formula> (after doing HOMEBREW_NO_INSTALL_FROM_API=1 brew install --build-from-source <formula>)? If this is a new formula, does it pass brew audit --new <formula>?

I realize this hasn't been able to pass the "notable" check due to lack of github stars, however this tool is a runtime dependency for mise which has 5k stars. This is used for shell completions in mise currently and soon will be used for some of the tasks functionality in mise—as well as being able to be used by other projects of course.

Hey @jdx and thanks for the PR. This looks like a nice piece of software, but it currently does not meet the notability requirements for inclusion into homebrew-core.
