The patch referenced in the upstream bug report worked for me. I left a comment there with instructions on how to edit the recipe to use that patch if you need it before it is made part of the release. |

@dimkalinux, according to a comment at the issue upstream, the patch has been accepted and merged into HEAD. So now you can test the patch simply by doing brew install --HEAD geoipupdate |
