filter toolbar for publications

The filter toolbar feature in project page is awesome. I was wondering if it is possible to add the same feature for publications page.

You can use the portfolio widget for your publications :)

Thank you very much! I didn't know it. I just followed the demo from "projects" page. And indeed I got the filter button. But I want to filter by 'publication type' instead of 'tag'. Unfortunately, my attempt isn't successful. I don't know why..

That' not currently possible. You can only filter tags.

I see. In the end I just add additional tags like Journal articles and books in each publication so I can set the filter button.
