Section Number 2:3.67.4.1.3.1

Issue In revision 4, a new search parameter "creation" was added to ITI-67 and replaced "date" in the XDS on FHIR option. But the associated note (5) has been kept and still says:

Note 5: The FHIR DocumentReference does not yet have a query parameter for creationTime of the document, it has only a date element which is the creation date/time of the DocumentReference. For FHIR R4 we align these two elements so that query will function.

"date" was the creation time of the DocumentReference, "creation" is the date attachment was first created (which is the document creation time I guess?) and is an official FHIR R5 parameter.

Proposed Change Remove the note or update it (but there's not much to say except that "creation" is a FHIR R5 parameter).

Priority:

  • Low: Typo or other minor classification that an editor can manage. Requires no group discussion.

update note, as it is still needed as it explains why there is a MHD defined search parameter. Change Note to:

Note 5: The FHIR R4 DocumentReference does not have a .attachment.creation query parameter, it has only a date element which is the creation date/time of the DocumentReference. MHD adds the search parameter DocumentReference-Creation, to provide the functionality of search against the document creation date/time.
