Infrastructure:

Done:

  • decided on simplified html
  • decided can maintain source as html in GitHub with formal publication on profiles IHE web site
  • directory structure defined for publication layout
  • automated conversion from word to clean html
    • headers
    • figure titles
    • table titles
  • defined process for extracting PPT, Draw, and UML diagrams
  • defined that ATNA message layout will remove the table and insert message pattern specific URL to Gazelle definition for that use.
  • basic CSS style

To Do:

  • Start the whole thing over using this years WORD documents of the Technical Framework
  • bullets are not clean:
  • table formats are not consistent
    • need to decide which tables require cleanup, which can be left using ugly html
  • hyperlinks from volume 1 to 2 and 3
  • hyperlinks from volume 2/3 back to 1
  • Style (CSS) for consistent look and feel
    • github webhook to watch checkin content to assure it is always clean html, without microsoft markup, without html features we don't want
  • Written procedures for committee approval -> pull request -> publication authority approval
    • similar to what we have with Mary for word supplement, technical framework, whitepaper.
    • Integration with formal publication web site
  • Document on how to convert an classic supplement (word) for future Final Text transition
  • Document on how to convert Technical Framework (word) for other domains to replicate what ITI did
  • Document on how to make minor (CP) edits to html for future needs of Change Procedures
  • Document on how to make major changes to tables, given that html tables are hard. This might include using GUI tools.
  • Document on how to manage index.html at each folder level
  • How do we interface and use the SKMT Glossary
  • How to show whitepapers - Proposal is there
  • How to show IG published works - Proposal is there -- likely similar to how HL7 publishes these as standalone folders with canonical URI redirects
    • How will IG published works be handled when they achieve Final Text? Do they get integrated? -- IHE-FHIR workgroup assigned

Need Help:

  • Convert figures that are embedded powerpoint slides
  • Convert figures that are embedded microsoft draw pictures
  • Convert figures that SHOULD be UML diagrams
  • Remove ATNA tables and replace with specific links to Gazelle ATNA equivalent specification
  • page-by-page verification that what we have is the same as PDF
