hex logo ideas

i was brainstorming hex logos...because you know that's pretty important. here's a first draft. please feel free to critique away!

I can try making the green numbers a little more transparent. might make it a little easier to read.

I find the half-seen binary code distracting.... Although I like the idea of having the binary data shown. I had been thinking abiout replacing the dimples around the edge of the pie with them might be nice....

I like the logo! Maybe use the "pi" symbol? (you know with the curvy edges instead of straight? If you like the binary code, you put that on the pie crust, make it have some transparency to it and then leave the words on this top? Is there a reason it needs to be a hexagon? If not, here is an idea for you....just a quick sketch but you get the picture :)

The cross section view could make for a nice alternative @CoastalPlainSoils.

The hex logo is an increasingly common branding practice among R package developers (e.g. https://www.tidyverse.org).

Any chance we can display this logo once it's finished at the top-left corner of the GUI, next to or possibly replacing the word "datapie"?
