Welcome to the Computational Neuroscience Ontology wiki !

This wiki contains the documentation related to the version 0.5 of CNO.

It is important to mention that CNO version 0.5 is still an alpha version. We will work with the OBO foundry community to guarantee an optimal integration of CNO in BFO and with other OBO ontologies.

Some terms are still missing and will be added in future version. If you wish to propose new terms, please use the issue tracker attached to the repository.

In this documentation, you will find the following topics:

  1. An introduction where we give an answer to the following questions: why cno? what is cno? What is the scope of CNO? and where to find CNO?

  2. A presentation of the internal model on which we build CNO where we describe the upper classes of CNO

  3. A brief description of the work done to develop CNO version 0.5

  4. A description of how we integrated CNO into the Basic Formal Ontology

  5. A description of how we imported multiple terms from different external ontologies

  6. The references cited in this documentation

You can find a pdf version of the documentation here
