To install :
Existing wallet directory:
Stop your wallet client if its running and once stopped BACKUP up your wallet.dat also e.g. COPY the wallet.dat to a safe directory or repository. Always make backups and always before any maintenance.
Make a new temporary directory and in there
gunzip bootstrap.dat.gz
sha256sum bootstrap.dat
verify the signature matches that in the signature file.
Once verified, copy the bootstrap.dat to your new wallet directory plus iocoin.conf file.
If you have an existing wallet.dat safe storage location then copy your latest wallet.dat into this directory.
Now start up your wallet e.g.
./iocoind --datadir=<YOUR_WALLET_DIR_HERE> &
The client will now sync from the bootstrap.dat file.
If you build the deamon from source make sure you checkout the main-legacy branch which is the existing mainnet.
