- update rootfs and buildroot with scripts to run mdev at startup and as a daemon. mdev dynamically updates device nodes in `/dev` based on connected devices and loaded drivers - buildroot mdev configuration taken from `buildroot/package/busybox/` - update linux kernel configuration to add support to mdev - update rootfs and linux image files
