Given the SPA front-end rewrite, I'm not certain this is worth reporting; feel free to close.
My apologies as well if this is a duplicate though I searched the 5.14 milestone.

In poking around a "performance problem" dataset provided by Kevin during stand-up, I noticed that datafile thumbnail pop-up previews can't always be dismissed and persist even once I click over to the "Versions" or "Metadata" tabs. I noticed this on Harvard Dataverse, v5.13 build 1244-79d6e57. Reproduced in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari.
