Some of these classes may be included in the revision of ISO 19103. Ref StandardsTracker ISO-TC211/StandardsTracker#396

Based on what I see, I can envision a few activities being undertaken as part of the full cleanup, looking at the collection class orphans as a start:

  1. Implementation of collection implementations for foundational types such as Real, etc. defined in 19103 - (create or migrate to common objects UML package/register).
  2. Discussion and guidance on when (e.g. by default, when needed) to implement collection classes for classes in other standards (by default or just when needed)
  3. Implementation of concrete collection classes in XML schemas where they exist in UML (implement in a common objects XML register)
  4. Development of bound template guidance (at least in XML) and examples (Sequence is a good examples since a valid bound template pattern is described in ISO 19118:2015) to guide project teams on templating where relevant
  5. Apply a combination of the above in the context of GOM and its ontologies
