I think it would be useful to have the option to turn off the cut line from drawings in viewport.
The alt+click for drawings is very useful, because it makes it easier to navigate between different objects' visibility in the viewport, while working in 3D, and the cut lines sometimes are not useful in 3D. Now, if I click activate model to turn them off, I lose the objects' visibility that I was working on.
Maybe there could be a checkbox like the one for "Viewport Annotations".

Hmm, is it important to show the cut lines in 3D? Or only when the camera is active?

For me, it's not important to show them in 3D. But maybe @theoryshaw has a different point of view?

I do like seeing the cut in 3D, but I understand wanting to turn it off sometimes.
If implementing a preference setting or turning it off are the same involvement, i would vote preference setting.

Coming from a Blender UI perspective I consider it an overlay and a toggle could rightly belong to this menu
