[Bootstrap Theme Generator]: customize & preview option is not applying custom colors

Description

1) When customizing any of the existing default themes, or uploading custom LESS variables and modifying them, the custom styling is not reflected when clicking the "Preview" button.

2) When uploading custom LESS variables and clicking the "Reset to defaults" button an error is shown.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the Bootstrap Theme Generator here and click the customize link.
2. Change the colors in the Colors section and click "Preview". -> the custom styling is not reflected
3. Return to the Bootstrap Theme Generator default page here and click the "Start by uploading your own LESS" link.
4. Click the "Upload & Customize" button and upload custom LESS variables.
5. Click the "Reset to defaults" button. -> an error is shown

Result

The custom styling is not reflected and an error is shown.

Expected result

The styling should be reflected and no errors should be shown.
