Welcome to the Transcendental Meditation
project! This repository aims to provide information about Transcendental Meditation (TM), including its benefits, how to practice it, as well as a section on yoga and a simple breathing exercise for practice.
Transcendental Meditation
is a technique for avoiding distracting thoughts and promoting a state of relaxed awareness. It's practiced for 20 minutes twice per day while sitting comfortably with closed eyes. TM is known for its numerous health benefits, including stress reduction, improved focus, and increased creativity.
In addition to TM, this project includes information on yoga. Yoga is a holistic practice that combines physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation to promote overall well-being.
Included is a simple breathing exercise aimed at promoting relaxation and stress reduction. Controlled breathing techniques, such as the ones provided, can have significant physical, emotional, and mental benefits .
To run this project locally, follow these steps:
Install dependencies by running
npm install
Start the server
npm start
Access the website by navigating to URL in your web browser.
