Welcome to the Imvertor wiki!

Imvertor is a system for transforming UML models into a number of technical specifications.

It is built by users for users, and is 100% fit for the tasks it is designed for.

Building Imvertor

Imvertor is a Java application. Most of the code is in XSLT 2.0, but these stylesheets are executed from within a Java environment which orchestrates the calls.

Imvertor is released frequently, as it covers requirements layed out by several users.

Imvertor results

The results of an Imvertor run are packed in a ZIP file. It consists of a small Readme.txt and a set of folders.

Also, a number of console logs is shown. This is mostly a sequence of 0..n messages that are issued as informative only, warning or error, or even a fatal error.

Depending on the parameters you ass to imvertor, and the configuration you have set up, a catalog may have been created.

Relation to second party tooling

Linked Matter provides access to the latest builds of Imvertor. This takes the form of an Enterprise Architect add-in.

Linked Matter also provides an Imvertor dashboard. This gives access to jobs, models and regression tests.

Some of these Linked Matter functions require login by user name and PIN code, as supplied by an administrator, as part of the Linked Matter Imvertor SAAS.
