AIROC™ BTSDK - CYW20820

Overview

The Infineon CYW20820 and CYW89820 are ultra-low-power dual-mode Bluetooth® 5.4 wireless MCU devices. They have a stand-alone baseband processor with an integrated 2.4 GHz transceiver supporting LE/BR/EDR,and an internal Power Amplifier (iPA) with programmable BDR transmit power up to 10.5 dBm. CYW208XX refers to both parts

SDK Software Features

CYW920820EVB-02:

  • 62-FBGA package, 10.5 dBm internal power amplifier, Arduino compatible headers, 9-axis motion sensor and thermistor, user switches and LEDs, USB connector for power, programming, and USB-UART bridge.
    Max UART baud rate is 3M

CYW989820EVB-01:

  • 48-WQFN package, 10.5 dBm internal power amplifier, Arduino compatible headers, 9-axis motion sensor and thermistor, user switches and LEDs, USB connector for power, programming, and USB-UART bridge.
    Max UART baud rate is 3M

CYW989820M2EVB-01:

  • 48-WQFN package, Arduino compatible headers, an ambient light sensor, thermistor, Infineon digital microphone, user switches and LEDs, USB connector for power, programming, and USB-UART bridge.
    Max UART baud rate is 3M

CYW920820M2EVB-01:

  • 62-FPBGA package, Arduino compatible headers, ambient light sensor, thermistor, footprint for analog microphone, footprint for Infineon digital microphone, user switches and LEDs, USB connector for power, programming, and USB-UART bridge.
    Max UART baud rate is 3M

CYBT-243053-EVAL:

  • CYW20820-based dual-mode (LE/BR/EDR) Bluetooth® 5.4-compliant fully certified module (CYBT-243053-02), Arduino compatible headers for hardware expansion, user switches and LEDs, FCC, ISED, MIC, and CE Certified Module on board (CYBT-243053-02), USB connector for power, programming, and USB-UART bridge.
    Max UART baud rate is 1M. Use baud rate of 115200 for Client Control.

CYBT-253059-EVAL:

  • CYW20820-based dual-mode (LE/BR/EDR) Bluetooth® 5.4-compliant fully certified module (CYBT-253059-02), Arduino compatible headers for hardware expansion, user switches and LEDs, FCC, ISED, MIC, and CE Certified Module on board (CYBT-253059-02), USB connector for power, programming, and USB-UART bridge.
    Max UART baud rate is 1M. Use baud rate of 115200 for Client Control.

Vela-IF820-INT-ANT-DVK:

  • Vela IF820 Integrated Antenna DVK Board (453-00171-K1) with on-board Vela IF820 Module (453-00171), CYW20820-based dual-mode Bluetooth® (LE/BR/EDR) and Bluetooth® 5.4 certified, FCC, ISED, CE, UKCA, MIC, RCM and KCC Certified Module on board. DVK supports MikroBus and Qwicc connectors for easy sensor board additions, simple headers and jumpers for all I/O, LEDs, buttons and switches.
    Max UART baud rate is 1M. Use baud rate of 115200 for Client Control.

Vela-IF820-EXT-ANT-DVK:

  • Vela IF820 External Antenna DVK Board (453-00172-K1) with on-board Vela IF820 Module, MHF4 Connector (453-00172), CYW20820-based dual-mode Bluetooth® (LE/BR/EDR) and Bluetooth® 5.4 certified, FCC, ISED, CE, UKCA, MIC, RCM and KCC Certified Module on board.
