Welcome to the GetStarted_IM69D130_With_RaspberryPi wiki! This installation manual for enabling I2S support in Raspberry pi to take input from MEMS Microphone is tested with Raspberry pi 3/3B+.

Commonly faced problem- As when jumper wires are used some noise may come while the recording is being done. This is just because of loose connection of wires. To avoid this use good quality and shorter jumper wires and check the loose connection.

MEMS Microphone and Raspberry Pi connection

  • The reason for the noise while recording the data from microphone is Signal Integrity matters with I2S.
  • Solution to the issue Use shorter wires and it will work really well.
