There are 50+ Instagram forks that exist only to update the version of Faraday, so this seems like an issue many people, including myself, are having. I've set Faraday and the Faraday middleware gem to a newer version and fixed all the issues I found since the newer versions have slightly different semantics. All the tests pass and I've spot-checked a few endpoints. I also consolidated the HTTP exception handling code, so it is now fewer total lines with the same functionality.
