Limit the line `r, g, b = img.split()` to the first 3 channels because the plugin already has a mask variable. The issue was caused by the stable diffusion setting: (img2img > include masked composite) being enabled.

I saw that the issue was marked as complete but I found myself having the same issue.
Some people's SD installations might return RGBA.
