If you want to create your own custom makefile, this does a quick test to see if there is an item by the name of custom.Makefile
Adam: Would flipping around the direction of composition here make sense? Should core have custom stuff injected into it?
- instead of something including custom in the base, if you're rolling custom you could make the custom.Makefile then
Don: Went with this method as: as little disruption to existing one, and the import is kind of a JHU standard.
it might make sense to have a custom.Makefile in the core

Alexander: Brings compatibility fixes to work with Drupal 9
- ex. having another predicate (memberOf) isntead of just memberOfCollection, would normally result in break - this has been fixed
Should be tested by following instructions in the README, following those, and applying to an Islandora 7 site
Jordan: creating a dependency on another module - what effect does that have on semantic versioning type stuff?
Alexander: They don't already have it because it doesn't work in Drupal 9.
Rebel just got it installed and willing to test
Alexander: It's got an ugly name right now, want to make clear that it's for migration from 7 - README may need additional edits.

Yamil: Running into issues using Mac OS Big Sur
Don: This performs what you can also do with your mouse, adds convenience. You expose SOLR's dashboard and click manage and click reload core and optimize normally. Don found the curl command to remove the steps to navigate to that.
If you're in ISLE, you do need the SOLR dashboard set to exposed for this to work.
Don: Needs further testing on Mac
Yamil: Even another Windows test, can potentially testing using an AWS
Tom pointed out an earlier, that shell command doesn't work well on Mac OS

Jordan: Looks like Diego had questions at the time left unanswered. What are we doing with Islandora 7 PRs on this call?
Putting a cap on stale pull requests? ex. having a 60-day notice
Doing this, we would have to filter out things like the use case tickets
Alex: since there isn't a full time tech lead, there sin't someone to pick up the leftover work anymore
Yamil: Talk about what has fallen behind because we don't have a tech lead - add to next tech call agenda? Should there be a discussion topic?

Other

Audio and Video model documentation pages notes
- Viewers for islandora audio and video have transcripts (transcripts meaning closed caption, subtitling)
- On the documentation, we should make it clear how we treat these things, and that we can do audio and video derivatives as well
- We don't have the full-fledged interactive transcript - it might be in place at UTSC's version of Islandora Lite but it's not part of Defaults
- Uses filetype .vtt
CONTRIBUTING.md discussion
- Narrowing down focus of CONTRIBUTING.md, point and link to other relevant documentation for futher
- Seth: We add CONTRIBUTING.md in all our modules. Changes to these takes a lot of updates. Keep them short, generic, and rely on links.
