Study title: Ongoing mitigation strategies and further needs of the United States food industry to control COVID-19 in the work environment (under peer review)
Description: In this study, a web-based needs assessment survey was distributed targeting management professionals at food (produce, dairy, poultry, and beef/pork) processing facilities and produce farm operations in the US. The objectives of this study were to determine what the food industry needs to be able to control COVID-19 impacts in the work environment and what mitigation strategies are being implemented.
Data set: The data set “NeedsAssessmentData.xlsx” contains all the responses collected from participants to the needs assessment survey. It includes two tabs: “Data” with participants’ responses and “Metadata” with descriptions for questions and Likert items. A .csv copy of the "NeedsAssessmentData.xlsx" was included for analysis in R ("NeedsAsssesmentData.csv").
R code: The file “NeedsAssess.R” contains the code used in R v4.0.3 to perform the statistical analysis described in the “Materials and Method” section of the manuscript.
