Project Description

As a part of the CSMIT x ACT Hackathon 2023, our team developed a Crop Recommendation System and Weather Reporting Web Application designed to empower farmers with valuable information for making informed agricultural decisions.

Features

• Crop Recommendation System: Our application provides personalized crop recommendations based on factors such as soil type, location, climate, and historical data. This assists farmers in optimizing their crop choices for better yields.

• Weather Reporting: We offer real-time weather updates to keep farmers informed about current and future weather conditions. This feature helps farmers plan their activities and protect their crops from adverse weather events.

• Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Backend: PHP
• Database: MySQL
• Weather Data: Integrated with a Weather API
• Machine Learning: Python (for crop recommendation model)

How to Run

1. Clone this repository to your local machine.

2. Open the project directory in your preferred code editor.

3. Launch the website by opening index.html in your web browser.
