Muze Rater

Overview

Muze Rater is part of the Muze Rating Suite. It calculates a Muze Rating for each of your albums in a music database.

Installation

Muze Rater can be installed as part of the Muze Rating Suite.

Introduction

The Muze Rater uses a wizard enter options and then outputs to either a webpage or data document. Webpage documents are launched using the operating system's default web browser.

The wizard pages contain options listed below.

Wizard Page Options

Music Database Type

Muze rater can read from music database types specified above. Follow the links for specific information on using Muze Rater with a particular database type. The next wizard page will contain options specifically for the database type selected.

Output Format

Muze Rater outputs Muze Ratings in webpage format (HTML) or data document format (XML).

Filter Albums by Rated Tracks

Muze Rater can filter albums according the number of rated tracks.

If the minimum number of rated tracks is specified, then only albums with at least that number of rated tracks will be included. This is useful to filter out those that aren't considered to be albums such as singles.

If the maximum number of rated tracks is specified, then only albums with no more than that number of rated tracks will be included. This can be used to show those that don't have track ratings set yet.

Show Folder and Launch

Muze Rater can launch (open the document in a different application). The application used is determined by the operating system based on the file type.
