In this course, I gained a practical understanding of several widely used statistical analysis techniques and some theoretical knowledge about them. I am now able to apply appropriate techniques to a given real data set and make suitable statistical diagnostics.
Using the learned statistical tools, namely R, I am now able to summarize and analyze real data sets. The course covered several important topics in statistical data analysis, including:
- Descriptive statistics and data visualization
- Probability distributions and hypothesis testing
- Regression analysis and analysis of variance (ANOVA)
- Nonparametric methods
With the help of R, I have learned how to use these tools to draw meaningful conclusions from data sets. R is a powerful statistical programming language that is widely used in data analysis, and the course provided me with the skills needed to use R effectively for statistical analysis.
Overall, this course has provided me with a strong foundation in statistical data analysis, and I am confident in my ability to apply these skills in real-world settings.
